Chillout-Time at Synergetic Records!
Blue Lunar Monkey is Daniel Gradilla from
Mexico. The highly talented artist has
already released his unique Chillout Music on
labels like Solstice Japan, AP Records and on
Transient.
Daniel started to play keyboards and guitar
at the age of 13 and became part of the band
Naranja Mecanica, wich was the first mexican
band signed by Universal Music in Mexico and
released an LP named Superstrip in 1997.
After studying Sitar and Nada Yoga (The Yoga
of Sound) in India he started to experiment
with trance and ambience in 1998, beside
teaching Yoga and Surfing in the beautiful
mexican pacific coast.
Blue Lunar Monkey is the day Daniel was born
on the Mayan calendar, Kin 171. The music of
BLM is as magic as the project name: Floating
grooves, atmospheric landscapes, divine
melodies and universal feelings of Oneness
come together in each song and construct a
full Rainbow of music and Endless
possibilities are combined to a sound candy
for those magic moments in life.
Each track is made with the best intention,
and works on the different Chakras or energy
centers through the Spine. With his music
Daniel aims to catalyse an internal movement
of consciousness and to help realize the
amazing beauty of this dream we call reality.

После успеха первого CD альбома “Two Moon Butterflies” на лейбле TranceXplorer проект Koan готов вновь порадовать ценителей своего творчества. Koan не расстается с идеей “этнического лаунжа”, с помощью которой развивает свое творчество музыкально и географически. Релиз предлагает нам вновь перенестись в Азию, на этот раз в интересный культурный регион, который принято называть Ближним Востоком.
Релиз содержит пять треков, выполненных в едином стиле и создающих особое “монолитное” настроение. Проникнутые арабской мелодикой и фабулой, они при этом полностью базируются на достижениях электронной музыки последних лет.
Это, как и раньше, спокойные, структурные композиции с постепенным развитием и скрупулезно размещенными внутренними связями. Гипнотический ритм, положенный в основу бит-секции, искусно подобран к этническим мелодическим ходам и создает богатую и мощную подложку каждому треку.

Pitch Black return with their fourth and possibly their best album so far. 'Rude Mechanicals'. Embraces all that is good about dance music and electronica, spiced up by the trademark Pitch Black blend of echoes, delays and deep, fat basslines. 'Sonic Colonic' kicks the tempo up a gear as the only real four-to-the-floor stomper on the album. 'Bird Soul' reminds one that Paddy Free spent years producing Salmonella Dub, as it takes their guitar driven drum and bass style and wraps it in an ambient dub envelope...

Objekt4 was formed in 2003, to explore the fields
of ambient music. The sound of Objekt4 ranges
from bleak industrial ambient to downbeat
chillout tracks. Hovering around the fine line
between music and ambience, the fine line between
reality and fiction.
Experimenting with and re-arranging sounds of
everyday life, creating shape-shifting forms of

The "Space Jungle Slums" cd consists of two
sessions recorded between 2005-2006, rooted in

Orchid-Star was put together by Pete Ardron
at the start of 2005, initially as a vehicle
to perform music he had written for DJ sets,
mostly for chill-out rooms.
The sound is lush and colourful with a strong
world music influence - Indian, Arabic,
Celtic, African and more fused with
everything from psychedelic chill and dub to
drum and bass and funk. Part electronic, part
live - vocalists - Myo and Samanta Ray,
guitar and bass - Pierre Luigi, electric
fiddle - Kait Farbon, full-size marimba -
Becky Dell, percussionists - Jon Bongly and
Becky keyboards - Pete, dancers Diane Everitt
and SandRa and occasionally more.
Orchid-Star have featured an increasing list
of guest performers from here and abroad,
vocalists, instrumentalists, dancers and
visual artists, giving a real variety to
their shows, performing with anything from
3-10 people on stage.
Both core members and guests have diverse
musical roots, several with classical
training and members with backgrounds in
rock, reggae, soul, funk, jazz, world and
other fields, having played with people as
varied as Tim Finn of Crowded House, True
Life Confessions, Basement Jaxx, Soul2Soul,
Hallucinogen and Stomp.
